About “Forms Most Beautiful”
Forms Most Beautiful is a way through which I communicate scientific ideas and concepts. It is a love note to not only the natural world, but to where we find ourselves within it.
My art practice began as a merging of my two passions. My educational and professional background started in the sciences but as time went on, my love of art and visual expression kept resurfacing. Studying science has given me a unique perspective of the universe and where we find ourselves within it. Einstein once said “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better” and I believe that this statement could not ring more true. Therefore, my purpose with what I create is to illuminate some aspect of the natural world for my audience; to use the visual piece as a starting point for communication and better understanding, and to see ourselves within or of nature, rather than feeling we are looking at it as outside spectators.
