Mixed Tape

Join us for this afternoon of nostalgia, design thinking, community and collage.  

Art inspires art and in this workshop we will be learning about the principles and elements of design in order to create and share pieces that connect to our favorite songs.  

In this workshop we will discuss the basic building blocks of design, collaborate to relate them to a common song and then branch out to create our own collage abstractions based on a song that is meaningful to you.

Whether you want to create a piece to give to a loved one, keep for yourself or just connect with an artsy community and practice some skills, this is the class for you.

All materials are provided BUT you can ALWAYS bring more ephemera. Ephemera is the stuff we use to collage, so if you have any papers, textures, keepsakes, etc. that you would like to bring to the class, please do!  

In addition, all students will be receiving a "Shopping Guide" complete with links to products so that you can continue your collage abstraction journeys at home.
